Dr Who fangirl post
Apr. 14th, 2007 08:55 amLast night DH and I started to watch the current season of Dr Who (yay bit torrent!) -- season 3 of the revival, or season 2 of the 10th Dr.
( Spoilers: Only read if you're in the UK or otherwise up to date with Dr Who. These won't be shown for almost a year in the US. )
I love how open the current Dr Who and Torchwood writers are about sexuality. I could use a little less of the graphic sex in Torchwood, but the basis is great. They're not uptight about gender at all. Dh and I were wondering if that's particular to Dr Who and Torchwood or if it's more generalized across British television.
