Well first the bad news. Drew and I won't be able to attend our 10 year reunion at Harvey Mudd this spring. I'm pretty bummed since we missed the 5th due to finances. I was going to make it work come hell or high water.

As it turns out, we're pretty happy about our reason for not attending. We have a baby due on reunion weekend! While I don't actually expect the little pea dude to appear on May 9, 2009, they'll be here sometime around then.

We've been hoping for a baby for 3 1/2 years so this is amazing news for us. This will be the first grandchild on either side although there are already little 2nd cousins running around (Drew's cousins' kids).

I do have a pregnancy filter since I had a hard time keeping my mouth shut. :) So if you'd like to hear all about it, let me know and I'll add you to the filter.
ETA: If this is not the first you've heard about my pregnancy on LJ, you're already on my filter.

Heh. I called in sick to work one day in the first trimester because I woke up, walked to the couch, and realized that was all the moving I had the energy to do for the next three hours. (Three hours later, I got up and took a shower.) That was my main symptom, really -- unreal fatigue.

Yay!!! Please add me too! It helps to have other people who care about how much you need to sleep to talk to. I bored Jon a bit when I was first pregnant, but luckily my good friend was pregnant with her first at the same time. The boys were due 17 days apart, but born 4 days apart.
