Wednesday afternoon rambling
Jan. 31st, 2007 02:05 pmBad Hair Day
I really really need a haircut. This is something of a new experience, since I had long hair until September. But today it's very obvious. I look like that girl from The Fifth Element. I feel like I should be answering the phone "Muulti-pass!". Thankfully I've scheduled a haircut for after work tomorrow.
Good Lunch!
I'm trying to eat healthier, lose weight, whatever. So instead of bringing leftover mac'n'cheese for lunch, I made a really tasty lunch. Barley, sauteed onions, mustard greens, with some weird Chinese vinegar and Penzey's Mural of Flavor. The barley had a nice fatty mouthfeel while being totally healthy and low-fat. The greens were just what I needed on the coldest day of the year. I should have put some mushrooms in. Maybe tomorrow.
